Writer/Executive Producer
Adam Barr is a Los Angeles-based film and television writer. He comes from a family of amateur musicians in New England, where he grew up studying classical piano, jazz piano, cello, theater, and forensics. Adam graduated cum laude from Harvard University before moving to Hollywood. He has written for such shows as Parker Lewis, The New Adventures of Old Christine, AMC’S Lucky Hank, and for much of its entire series, Will & Grace, where he served as Executive Producer and earned an Emmy award. He’s directed short films and produced multiple original pilots for NBC, CBS, and FOX, including the American remake of Spaced in 2017. The music of Brahms has spoken to him since he was a child.
